Rick McCarville CLU, ChFC, CMFC, CRPC

Rick McCarville - Rick is the founder of Advanced Financial Solutions. He is a dedicated financial services professional with over three decades of experience in life, disability, long-term care insurance, and financial planning. His career began in 1989 with Mutual of New York, and he has since held various positions that have allowed him to develop a diverse skill set, including securities licensing with MONY Securities Corp., an independent insurance brokerage, and securities licensing at Woodbury Financial and OSAIC.

Education: Rick graduated from Saint Edmond High School in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He furthered his education at Iowa Central Community College and Buena Vista University, ultimately earning multiple designations from the American College of Financial Services, including CLU, ChFC, CMFC, and CRPC.

Family: In 1988, he married Pam Cooper McCarville, and together they have raised three children: Andrew, Kaitlyn, and Madisyn. They are proud grandparents to nine grandchildren.

Community Involvement: Rick is deeply committed to his community. He has served on the Domestic Sexual Assault Board of Directors for six years and has been an active member of the Citizens Community Credit Union Board of Directors for the same duration. His involvement with Holy Trinity Parish includes eight years on the finance committee, while he has dedicated nine years to the Saint Edmond School Board and six years each on the finance and executive committees. Additionally, he has enjoyed coaching middle school football for ten years, positively impacting young athletes in the community.

Leisure Activities: In his free time, Rick cherishes moments spent with his grandchildren and enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, and staying active through exercise.
